Chip Reese's Son Dead at Twenty

If you know anything about poker, you most likely know the name Chip Reese. Chip Reese died back in december of 2007 of pneumonia although many feel that his death may have resulted from gastric bypass surgery. Terrible news has come to this family again.

Chip Reese's twenty year old son, Casey Reese, has just passed as well because of drug overdose. They believe it was an overdose on medication that is prescribed to him.

He really took it badly when his father died and many are saying that just wasn't the same after that happened.

Casey was a fantastic baseball player in highschool and even got a scholorship to UNLV although he never played for the college.

It brakes my heart to hear stories like this one. Only 20 years old. He had his whole life in head of him. I really wish he would have got the help to save him.

I can't even fathom what the family is going through. I don't know anything about this young man. Did he ever get married? Did he have any children? What a heartbreaker. They say you have never felt pain till you lose a child.

I thank God I have never had any children.

It is always say to hear of someone passing. My mom, "Bless her heart" has buried three of her seven children. I do not know how she stands it. I have 3 and if I lost one of them, I do not think I could handle it!

I know, this is really sad. He was an awesome baseball player and had a lot he could have accomplished. His family must be devastated.

My husbands cousin lost their two little girls instantly in an automobile accident. The whole family was in the car except for the Dad. They were going home from a birthday party when they were hit head on by a drunk driver. Two of their girls died on impact and the other girl broke her leg. The Mom had to have her leg amputated but she also survived. It was the worst thing I had ever experienced. I thank God for my kids everyday.
