Poker question

I love to play poker, or at least I try to play poker. I often lose, though every now and then I get lucky and win. Though of course this is something that rarely happens to me.

I was wondering if anyone here can suggest where a good place to practice my poker skills as well as maybe learn more about the game. There are several terms people use when playing poker that confuse me.

This is proably the reason that I dont often win a single hand. I want to become better at the game because most of my friends play the game.

Though lately I have been sitting on the sidelines just watching everyone because I am really tired of losing all the time.

I could really use some help on this one folks. Any suggestions sure would be helpful to me.

I need to learn as much as possible about the game and have a place to practice all that I learn so that the next time my friends gather for a game of poker I will be able to surprise everyone and maybe actually win a few hands and instead of losing several,LOL.

Pogo has lots of free casino games that you can play. It is a great way to get in some practice and no one knows you there so no embarrasement.

I love to play blackjack and even play the roulette every now and again. At least this way you aren't risking any cash. Have fun.
